The global tech. industry is constantly changing and transforming something new is becoming popular with individuals and companies. One of the more promising advances this $3.4 trillion industry is pumping out is Cloud Computing. Cloud Computing accounting for about $16.7 billion is becoming more prominent in modern companies.
Cloud computing allows you to have instant access to all of your private and company information, all you need is a smart device and an internet connection. With cloud computing constantly evolving and becoming more advanced and easier to access and use the work environment as we know it is also evolving.Many companies have started to have employees work from home and other off site locations. If all companies start to follow suit, do you think, in future business, we will have a need to actually leave our home and drive to work? Will cloud computing fizzle out or keep evolving and becoming more powerful and used?

  1. Cloud computing in my opinion is one if the coolest technological advances in the past few years. I learned this past year that it can be used not only for file sharing but also for storage. Being a graphic design major, I constantly have problems maintaining a reliable storage device. The only problem with the cloud is that it is kinda expensive! Also, another problem I have had with the cloud is that when my dad and I get updates on our iPhones we constantly get each others texts and can see each others' private conversations. Besides those facts though, I think the cloud is here to stay. It will be interesting to see the growth in the coming years.

  4. I like the cloud computing idea. I think that in order to stay successful in business you have to stay up with the current topics and current trends. It is quite possible that we may never have to leave our homes if all business turn to this trend.
